Master BS Textile – Protection and Sealing

Use and Benefits: Global Prefer® Master BS Textile is a fire preventin impregnation for cellulose fiber fabrics (except jute) in the interior, featuring all necessary test certificates and verifications in accordance with DIN 4102-B1. For finishing furnishing fabrics and curtains in theaters, schools, day-care centers, cinemas, restaurants, exhibition halls, conference rooms and the like. Global Prefer® Master BS Textile develops non-combustible gases in case of a fire and results in the carbonization of the impregnated material. Toxic gases or halogen substances will not be released.

Preparation: Test suitability first on an unobtrusive spot. Also check the adhesive power on the surface before prior use. Cleanse the surface thoroughly of dust, grease, wax, resin and separating particles.

Application: Shake well before use. Immerse the fabric in the solution, press out and hang them up for drying. Alternatively we recommend the finishing based on the foulard method. Spraying with standard spray flasks is also possible, but thereby mind the thorough treatment on both sides of the fabric. Conduct adequate fire tests for your own safety.

Caution: Do not dry treated fabrics whilst folded or stacked! This may weaken the breaking strength and/or modify the fabric's adhesion or coloring.

Important:
Do not expose the impregnation to water or dry-cleaners.

Dilution:
Dilution of Global Prefer Master BS Textile is not necessary.

Applied Quantity:
The wet coating of the fire protection impregnation should be 1100 ml per kg fabrics.

Permanent Effect: The impregnation is effective for many years if used properly.
