BS Syntex - Protection and Sealing

Use and Benefits: Global Prefer® BS Syntex is a fire prevention impregnation for synthetics and blended fabrics made of synthetics and natural fiber in the interior. Treatment of furnishing fabrics and curtains in theaters, schools, nurseries, cinemas, restaurants, exhibition halls, assembly halls and others. In the case of a fire, Global Prefer® BS Syntex develops non-combustible gases and results in the carbonization of the impregnated material. No toxic gases or substances containing halogen are released.

Preparation: In each case either way, test the suitability on an unobtrusive spot. Before using the product, test the adhesion on the surface. Clear the surface carefully of dust, grease, wax and resin and separating particles.

Application: Shake well before use. The textiles should be immerged into the solution, pressed out and hung up for drying. As an alternative, the preparation according to the Foulard procedure is to be recommended. It is also possible to spray the fibers with standard spray flasks, however, in this case, a very careful treatment on both sides must be ensured. To be on the safe side, corresponding inflaming tests should be carried out.

Note: Do not allow treated textiles to dry folded or horizontally! Depending on the type of the fiber, the breaking strength may be reduced and the feel or color of the fabric may change.

Important:
The impregnation is not resistant against the influence of water or chemical detergents.

Thinning:
A thinning of Global Prefer® BS Syntex is not required.

Applied Quantity:
The wet fitting of fire protection impregnation should be 500 - 800 ml per kg of fabric.

Permanent Effect: If processed appropriately, the impregnation can be effective for many years.
