BS Cardboard - Protection and Sealing
Use and Benefits: Global Prefer® BS Cardboard is a fire prevention impregnation in accordance with DIN 4102 - B1 for the dry interior with the required test certificates and verifications. Impregnation for absorbent paper and cardboard, e.g. decorative paper, packaging, transport boxes and others. In the case of a fire, Global Prefer® BS Cardboard develops non-combustible gases and results in the carbonization of the impregnated material. No toxic gases or substances containing halogen are released.

Preparation: In each case either way, test the suitability with the surface on an unobtrusive spot. Clear the surface carefully of dust, grease, wax and resin and separating particles.
Application: Shake well before use. Depending on the type of material, different types of application through immersing or spraying are possible.
Important: The impregnation is not resistant against the exposure to water.
Important note: Dilution: A dilution of Global Prefer® BS Cardboard is not required. The proof of flame retardant properties according to the test certificate only refers to the serviceable original solution.
Applied quantity: The wet fitting of fire protection impregnation must be at least 800 ml/kg on paper and cardboard.
Permanent Effect: If processed appropriately, the impregnation can be effective for many years.
Note: The thinner added to set the viscosity should not exceed 10%. If too much thinner is added, the quality may be reduced.
