Synthetics Sealing – Protection and Sealing

Use and Benefits: Global Prefer® Synthetics Sealing is a temporary alcohol-based coating based on chemical nanotechnology, which generates an easy-to-clean effect on synthetic surfaces (polyester, PMMA, PC). The rubbed-on material generates a thin film on the surfaces, which reduces the adherence of dirt and foreign material and better rolls of water. Coated surfaces are particularly easy to clean.

Preparation: : Thoroughly free the surface from dirt, oil and greasy staining. We recommend Global Prefer® AZ Cleaning Agent. Rinse with plenty of water afterwards. Surfaces must be clean, dry and grease-free prior to coating. Test the application on an unobtrusive spot or a sample surface.

Important: It is important not to touch the surface with your hands after cleaning. Start refining immediately after cleaning. Do not clean the surfaces mechanically or chemically for 2 hours after the refinement.

Application: Apply through rubbing using the Global Prefer® AP Cloth TOP 1. Economically spray the material on the surface and spread with circling movements on the clean surface. The applied quantity is about 10-25 ml per sqm.

The applied material needs at least 15-30 minutes to dry. The easy-to-clean effect will be generated about 30 minutes after furbishing. If humidity is high, allow for a longer hardening time (up to a few hours).

Quality Check: The water should generate drops but not an even coat on the complete surface. If the temporary easy-to-clean effect gets weaker, you may refresh the effect by proceeding based on the initial treatment.

Important Notes: Cleaning coated surfaces: Aggressive cleaning agents (extremely acid or basic, abrasive milk) are not required, as any staining does not adhere strictly to the surface. Clean the surface with a sponge and mild cleaning detergent (i.e. Global Prefer® AZ Cleaning Agent), when roll-off effect weakens. The coating still requires the regular cleaning of the surface.
