Mildew Additive - Pretreatment and Cleaning
Use and Benefits: Global Prefer® Mildew Additive is a ready to use, solvent-free and permeable product. Global Prefer® Mildew Additive has been developed based on a nano-structured release system in order to prevent indoor formation and regeneration of mildew decay.

Preparation: You will achieve the best effects when treating affected spots with Global Prefer® Mildew Acute before the application of Global Prefer® Additive.
Application: Add Global Prefer® Mildew Additive to cement or paint, as you are used to. When applying the paint or cement on walls and ceilings, the active agents of Global Prefer® Mildew Additive will also be applied. Additional operations are not necessary.
Important: In addition, you may pre-treat walls and ceilings with Global Prefer® Mildew Acute (see instructions). You can thereby remove already existent mildew decay. Please refer to the technical datasheet of Global Prefer® Mildew Acute for information about effects and application.
Caution: Global Prefer® Mildew Additive cannot be applied partially. To permanently prevent mildew regeneration, you have to treat the complete room in order to effectively affect mildew formation!
Always treat large areas of mildew decay, as mildew can also form in-wall and hence might not necessarily be visible from the outside.
Safety Note: Liquid paint or cement residue must not be disposed of through the sewage water system! Please dispose properly.
Caution: Avoid skin and eye contact! In case of splashing, please rinse with water or, if necessary, consult a doctor. Use proper safety gloves. Keep out of reach of children!

Hardening/Drying:
Please refer to the respective instruction manual of the paint or cement manufacturer. Global Prefer® Mildew Additive does not affect times given there.
Permanent Effect: Mildew regeneration will be successfully prevented for a period of 3 years. The effect might be shortened by invisible mildew existing in the subsoil.
