Carglass Sealing Top – Protection and Sealing

Use and Benefits: Global Prefer Carglass Sealing Top is a highly effective two-component coating material (Components G1 and G2) for any vehicle surface made of glass. It facilitates the removing of dirt, insects and icing. The coating will be improved significantly, the windscreen washer system used less frequently.
The refinement generates an ultra thin coat, which is not visible on the surface.

Preparation: Preparation: Glass surfaces and all adjoining components, such as window seals, synthetic and car body part, must be entirely dry and clean. A preliminary cleaning with Global Prefer Top Cleaner Abrassive is necessary, in order to achieve best results.

Apply Global Prefer Top Cleaner Abrassive in accordance with the application recommendations, and clean subsurface with a sponge (Global Prefer Grey Giant) and water. Cleaning afterwards with Global Prefer Precision Cleaner will result in a residue-free surface, which will significantly advance the durability of Global Prefer Carglass Refinement.

Application: Mix the components G1 and G2 in same volume with the Mixingbottle and Spray Global Prefer Carglass Sealing Top on 30x30 cm sections and quickly furbish with circling movements using the Global Prefer Application Cloth TOP 1. Allow overlapping sections in order to avoid bad spots. You may remove grey films (excess of material) by evenly furbishing with the Global Prefer Application Cloth TOP 1. After furbishing, the glass surface will look brilliant and clear.

Caution: In order to avoid dehydration of skin, we recommend the use of protective gloves during refinement.

Environmental Impact: Solvents volatilize faster under conditions of high humidity, direct sunlight and temperatures above 20 °C. Treat smaller surface sections only.

Result: Test the proper application by pouring water on the surface. Water drops should generate, but not an even coat, then the refinement will have been properly.

Cleaning the coated surface: Clean with Global Prefer Grey Giant and Global Prefer Top Cleaner Abrassive when roll-off effect weakens. Afterwards, repeat refinement as described above.
